Hi, I have a 2006 petrol Focus Ghia which, as you know, has the 1.6 Ti-VCT engine - well cared for, 38.000 miles and serviced as per Ford recommendations. The EML came on a couple of months ago which was cured by fitting a new cat sensor (had to have second one as first proved faulty).

I am not keen on paying a Ford dealer a king's ransome for what must be a simple job. The objective is to see if Cataclean has resoved a catayst efficiency problem that I have at the moment so I may need to reset several times before I know the answer. Say your doing about 30-40mph in 4th, I put my foot down and it seems to stutter or misfire. I will do it in other gears at low speed also, but once the speed has been built up, it goes fine.
