🖼️ Is Assassin'S Creed Origins Or Odyssey Better
The game is way too big and filled with grindy shit. Origins by default is more interesting since it's in Egypt, you have the piramids, and a mistique to it. You use a man that acts like a man on every occasion. It's shorter but pretty much has all the aspects that odyssey has minus the dumb shit.
In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla specifically, but The Witcher 3 arguably does all this better than Assssin’s Creed, the pre-Origins Assassin’s Creeds, Sekiro: Shadows Die
Origins is briefest. Longer than any previous AC game. Manages to feel exciting and hold attention all the way through. Odyssey expands the complexity of the gear system (you coul
The Assassin’s Creed series took a downturn after the release of Unity, only to experience a resurgence after Origins came around. Locations That Make Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Better
Syndicate is the last "classic" Assassin's Creed with the IMO superior fighting system. Yes, it's just Arkham style combat but it looks more spectacular and I overall prefer it over the jank that is Origins (I assume that Odyssey isn't much better). That said, I am currently really enjoying Syndicate after not enjoying Unity at all.
1.) The story makes sense ( In odyssey there are no assassins, in origins it makes sense bc it’s literally the origins of the assassins, but the way they covered it up in odyssey doesn’t convince me) 2.) The characters are interesting 3.) The gameplay is consistent but not repetitive 4.) The map isn’t over filled with activities and
Tie between Valhalla and Odyssey (11.7%) Valhalla (10.9%) Tie between Origins and Odyssey (7.8%) Can’t decide (7.8%) There you have it, the community prefers Odyssey, and by quite a margin. If you want to break it down by question, Odyssey was the #1 answer for 6 of them. Valhalla had 3. Origins on the other hand, had 4 number one answers.
U bisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey launched for all platforms this past Friday, October 5th. With its release, users have taken to the internet to find out whether the game “is worth it”, if it’s “better than Assassin’s Creed Origins”, or if it’s “simply Origins 2.0”.
Finished Origins, couldn't get very far into Odyssey before being fatigued/bored, but did go into it straight after Origins. Picked up Valhalla cheap, 10 hours in and still enjoying it. Feels somewhere in between Origins and Odyssey combat wise. Like the story, some lovely graphical flourishes (playing on the X) and reasonably stable.
The combat took some getting used to, but I enjoyed it by the end, and expect Odyssey to be very similar. If some of the rumors of the storyline of Odyssey are to be believed, then I think that Origins and Odyssey will offer two sides to the same coin: Assassins/Brotherhood vs Templar/Order. Plus, the game is gorgeous.
It leans into the mythical aspect a lot more, with bunch of cool abilities powers and amazing boss fights and characters. Odyssey feels more focused on being fun to play, it takes the origins gameplay and refines it every aspect. But the trade off is you get a much weaker narrative and very large map.
It seems that the vast majority of Assassins Creed fans favor Origins over Odyssey and I've been curious to see what people's opinions are on why they consider odyssey to be better. Locked post. New comments cannot be posted.
Origins vs Odyssey Combat and Difficulty. Prior to the soft reboot of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed had only contained a paired animation system for combat, creating stylish looking combat that was often based on parrying and combos. Origins became the first to create hitbox based combat and using a system similar to the
I'd love to hear honest opinions about Odyssey, I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about idiots who hate the game just because it's called Assassin's Creed and made by Ubisoft. Origins is one of my all time favourites and I'm wondering if Odyssey is even better. I'll definitely get Odyssey this Christmas, I just want to hear what you guys think of it.
